I was surprised to find I liked Rey a little more in this movie than I did in the last. I guess with both sequels you sit wondering how much was always planned with the changes in director etc. I like to think that was always the plan and he wasn't brought in as an after thought but I don't if that was the case or not. It was nice seeing Billy Dee Williams, there is that bitter sweet with the other characters being gone and that they didn't cross paths but still cool that they included him. I went to see it yesterday, I lost enthusiasm mostly due to the last one but I saw the last two so why not, also people seem to like this one more.Īs with watching the last one, there is that sadness with Carrie being gone, given what they had to work with I think they did quite well with her.
